Several factors help determine your suitability. You’ll need to be over 20, have had stable vision for at least 12 months, be in good general and eye health, and not be pregnant at the time of surgery. LASIK is generally painless. Most patients report feeling only mild pressure during the procedure. You may experience some scratchiness or discomfort for 4–6 hours afterward, which is completely normal.

The actual procedure takes less than 10 minutes per eye, but you’ll be at the clinic for 2–3 hours to complete pre- and post-op checks. There’s no general anaesthesia - just local numbing drops to keep you comfortable and safe.

Most patients regain 90% of their vision within 24 hours, and many can return to work and resume driving the very next day. You’ll notice continued improvement and some minor fluctuations over the next few weeks.

After your procedure, you’ll go home to rest (ideally with your eyes closed for a few hours), and our team will guide you through proper aftercare, including scheduled follow-up appointments to monitor healing.
